Trial Experience
Mr. Feinstein has litigated many cases dealing with clients' rights. These include constitutional cases and matters determined by appellate courts. For example, he was successful in the Illinois Supreme Court case of Messenger v. Edgar, in which the Illinois statute which automatically froze a litigant's assets upon the filing of the case, was declared to be unconstitutional. In another case, he was successful in striking down a rule which required all litigants who had minor children to attend a parenting class.
